Nature of Activity
The group are trying to maintain, improve and promote the use of the Grade II listed Prince of Wales Park. Work includes general gardening activities, drain maintenance, path clearing and general management of the park in partnership with Bradford Parks Department. Additional Details
The Friends group are delighted to hold regular events in the park which are generally family oriented. With this in mind we need not only regular work session helpers but also people with planning, marketing and fund raising expertise. We hold twice weekly work sessions, Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 9 until 12.30. Each session has first aid cover, site management, provides tools and most importantly provides coffee (and usually cake) for a half time break. We welcome any adult to join in or under 18 yr old WHO MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
