Following the resignation of Councillor Rachel Varley earlier this year, an election was requested and held on 15 March in Gilstead Ward. The results were as follows:
Helen Owen (Independent) – 342
Stephen Williams (Conservative) – 149
Paula Parkinson (Labour) – 74
Turnout: 25.3%
Helen Owen was duly elected and we’re pleased to welcome her to the Council.
