A new Disability Survey has just been announced by the UK Government, and Bingley Town Council would like to encourage people from the local community to give their views. It’s important to add that although they are especially keen to receive responses from disabled people, those who care for them, and close family/friends, ALL views are very welcome from members of the wider public.

The survey will remain open until 23rd April, and all views are important; responses received before 28th February 2021 will inform the development of the National Strategy, while those received after this date used to inform its delivery.

The link for the survey can be found via this link uk disability survey

The link for the Easy Reads version is on the opening page of the survey and can also be found on gov.uk https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/disability-in-the-uk-survey with details of all the accessibility products. A Braille format version can be provided on request by contacting: DUCitizenspace@cabinetoffice.gov.uk.

We encourage all of you to take part in, and share, this survey. Informing the UK Government of your own experiences in this manner helps shape constructive and positive policy – don’t miss your chance to have your say.
