Bingley Town Council wish to thank everyone who has already completed the survey about the office and public toilet proposals. If you haven’t yet completed it please do so at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BTCconsultation. All the information about the development can be downloaded from the document section of the Bingley Town Council website. Please encourage your friends and family to take part in the consultation, your views really are so important.
Paper copies of the survey are available from Bingley Library or from Cottingley Cornerstone Centre and if you need any further information please email enquiries@bingleytowncouncil.gov.uk or call the office on 07703188660.
Are the public WCs unisex? This is not clear on the plans and would disabled toilet users appreciate having to go past any users of the office. However, cannot help but see a, perhaps, an unintended link between politicians and toilets, and the country. Or in this case Bingley.
Thank you for your comments Mr Barlow. The public toilets are unisex.
Kind regards
Ruth Batterley
Town Clerk
I am in favour of the proposal as we need public toilets open and also I think it is good to have the Town Council in Bingley.
Hello Kathleen,
Thank you for your comments. Please complete the survey online or you will find the survey together with consultation information in the documents section on the Town Council website:

I’ve just clicked on the link to complete the survey, only to be met with a message stating that the page does not exist!
Hello Brian,
Thank you for your comments. The link is working now but just in case I’ve sent you a hard copy of the survey to complete and return to the Town Council office.
Any queries, please get in touch.
Kind regards
Ruth Batterley
Town Clerk
Would there be a chance of making a few desks for community police since the local stations shut and i think its important to keep a base for the police in Bingley, there wouldn’t be a space for a help desk however there could be a phone outside for emergencies and still use the libary as a public contact point.
Hello Mr Blaxall.
Thank you for your comments. Currently there are no plans to co-locate. Please do complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BTCconsultation.
Best wishes,
Laura Jowett
Administrative Officer
There seems to be plenty of room here to accommodate disabled changing facilities -so why not ?
It is time that Bingley took the lead in such important initiatives to provide vital services to improve the lives of disabled people and their families
I did not expect or want a Town Council to borrow huge sums of money to provide themselves with new modern offices at the expense of the residents of Bingley.
