Yeadon Theatre Company, formerly, Yeadon Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society are excited to be performing Bad Girls the Musical at 7.30pm 12th-16th March 2019 at Yeadon Town hall. They are delighted to bring it back to Leeds, where it was first performed at the Leeds Playhouse in 2006 and can’t wait to bring this powerful story to new audiences!
Bad Girls the Musical is a fresh, funny and original British musical in two Acts. It is based on a book by Maureen Chadwick and Ann McManus and the music and lyrics are by Kath Gotts. The musical is widely based on the popular award -winning ITV1 prison drama series, Bad Girls.
Bad Girls the Musical introduces us to an anarchic bunch of women on the edge and up against the odds. They include, prostitutes, addicts, shop-lifters, murderers, each with a story to tell of lives left behind and their dreams of a better future ahead, however, an entrenched old guard of prison officers are out to dash their every hope.

Tickets are priced at £15.50 in the lower stall area (concession price £13.50) plus booking fee and £17.50 in the Balcony area (concession price £15.50) plus booking fee. There is a ticket reduction to £10 (plus booking fee) on the Tuesday performance.
